About
Professional care. Considered treatments. Natural results.
I’m Jo, founder and practitioner at Solar Aesthetics in Hartley Wintney.
For me, aesthetics is about far more than performing a treatment. It’s the combination of clinical knowledge, careful assessment and artistry — understanding anatomy, recognising what will enhance an individual face and, just as importantly, knowing when less is more.
Training & professional standards
I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Aesthetic Practice and have undertaken extensive additional training across advanced aesthetics, skin and regenerative treatments.
My education doesn’t stop with a qualification. I continually invest in further training and professional development to keep my knowledge, techniques and treatment protocols current, with particular emphasis on anatomy, client safety, complications management and achieving natural, balanced results.
Every treatment begins with the individual. I take time to understand your concerns, medical history and expectations before recommending an appropriate treatment plan — and I will never recommend a treatment simply because it is available.
Quality without compromise
The products used at Solar Aesthetics are carefully selected, premium and sourced through reputable UK suppliers, with CE-marked products used where applicable.
Product quality, provenance and safety are incredibly important to me. I research the products and technologies I introduce into clinic and choose treatments that complement my approach to aesthetics: considered, evidence-conscious and focused on achieving beautiful, natural-looking results.
I work to high standards of hygiene, consultation, informed consent and aftercare, and where prescribing is required, work alongside a qualified medical prescriber to ensure treatment is clinically appropriate.
More than injectables
Solar Aesthetics offers a comprehensive range of advanced face, skin, hair and aesthetic treatments, allowing me to look beyond one particular treatment when creating a plan for you.
Treatments include facial aesthetics and dermal fillers, skin boosters and polynucleotides, medical-grade microneedling, exosome and PDRN treatments, PRP, advanced chemical peels, PDO mono threads and personalised skin rejuvenation programmes.
I also offer specialist treatments including hair and scalp rejuvenation, semi-permanent make-up and selected wellbeing treatments.
Having this breadth of treatments means the conversation isn't simply “What can I inject?” but rather “What is the most appropriate way to achieve what you want?”
The artistry of natural aesthetics
Technical ability is only one part of good aesthetics.
I believe beautiful results also require an artistic eye — an appreciation of proportion, balance, facial movement and the characteristics that make each face unique.
My approach is intentionally subtle. I don't want to change the way you look or make you look like somebody else. The aim is for you to leave looking like yourself — fresher, beautifully balanced and more confident.
Sometimes that means treating. Sometimes it means choosing an entirely different approach. And sometimes good practice means advising that no treatment is needed at all.
That honesty and trust are incredibly important to me.
Exceptional standards of care. Beautifully considered treatments. Results that still feel entirely like you.
